For a great garden performer with a unique flower form, you can't go wrong with this Turkish native. Strong stems hold 15–20 fragrant, deep purple, bellshaped blooms that really wow in the landscape. Try them in a mixed container garden, as a ground cover near a stand of trees or in springtime borders. Tolerates juglone from black walnut trees.
